The PMD has instructed fishermen to avoid going in the ocean from Tuesday evening to Thursday

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Tidal waves on Monday evening or night are likely to hit the coastal areas of Balochistan and Sindh.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the low air pressure in Arabian Sea at least 1,200 kilometres (KMs) south-east of Karachi has taken form of a cyclone. Chief Meteorologist Naeem Shah said that tidal waves are likely to hit Sindh and Balochistan coastal areas in the evening today or night.

The air speed is likely to go up to at least 60 nautical per mile.

The PMD has instructed fishermen to avoid taking their boats in the ocean from Tuesday evening to Thursday.
