Ishtiaq Ahmad was fiction writer from Lahore, famous for his spy, detective novels in Urdu language, and is the author of the highest number of novels (700) by any author in any language throughout the world. He was popular in the 70s to 80s and 90s. His famous writings includes; Inspector Jamshed series, Inspector Kamran Mirza series, and Shoki series. He was editor at Bachon Ka Islam magazine
