LAHORE – The Jamiat Ulma-e-Pakistan (JUP) yesterday organised a seminar at Lahore Press Club to mark the 12th death anniversary of party’s former chief and leading Islamic scholar of his time Allama Shah Ahmad Noorani.

Shah Noorani’s role in declaring Ahmedi’s as non-Muslim was also praised by them.
The scholars emphasized the need for unity among various factions of Islam which they said was the dream of Ahmad Noorani. They said sectarian violence was the main reason behind the recent decline of Muslim Ummah in every sector.
